Please come out and support our JPT Chorus students as they perform their Christmas concert at Blanding Street Auditorium on Tuesday, December 5th at 7 PM.

Students working on a National History Day project will have the opportunity to work on their projects after school on Wednesday, December 5th and 12th from 4 to 5 PM.  Make sure transportation is arranged to pick you up at 5 PM for this and all other after-school activities.

Robotics Club is every Tuesday from 4:00 to 5:00.


Gaming Club is every Thursday from 4:00 to 5:00.

At its regular monthly meeting Thursday night, the Florence County
School District Three board of trustees approved four weather
make-up days for the school days lost to Hurricane Florence.
Your child will have school on these days. They are as follows:

January 3rd
February 22nd
March 15th
April 19th

Welcome to J. Paul Truluck Creative Arts and Magnet School – home of the Panthers. Students that choose to come here can expect a wonderful and unique educational experience!  Our objectives include an engaging curriculum that meets the following:

1. Prepare students for college with rigorous 21st century courses
2. Provide arts integrated learning experiences
3. Engage students in problem and project based lessons

J. Paul Truluck Creative Arts and Science Magnet School will be a premier school of choice by providing arts integration, specialized learning experiences, a rigorous STEM curriculum, and individualized learning environments.  Starting in the 2018-19 school year our school will house grades 6-9.  The plan is to use a phase-in approach to gradually expand and become a 6th-12th grade school by the 2021-22 school year.  We look forward to starting this journey with our students next year!
