Ms. Andrea Atkinson, English and Theatre


Andrea Atkinson teaches English and Theatre, bringing a passion for helping students think for themselves and recognize their endless possibilities. Ms. Atkinson holds a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University, a Bachelor of Arts, and an Associate in Science from North Greenville University.


Ms. Atkinson holds certifications in Gifted and Talented and Read to Succeed. She was selected as an Inspirational Teacher last year by a future teacher from Florence School District 3. Ms. Atkinson volunteers at the Darlington County Humane Society and conducts rescue transports.


Her teaching philosophy centers on one core belief: teach a student to think for themselves and their possibilities are endless.
