Mr. Emilio Geronimo, Pre-Algebra 1 (8th Grade Math) and Geometry
Emilio Geronimo teaches Pre-Algebra 1 and Geometry. Originally from the Philippines, Mr. Geronimo studied at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, one of the top schools in the City of Manila, where he earned his Bachelor of Secondary Education with a major in Mathematics. He has been teaching for 12 years and is in his 5th year at JPT.
Mr. Geronimo was named 2025 International Teacher of the Year. He loves to teach and believes that learning is about give and take—a continuous process of acquiring new knowledge, skills, behaviors, and attitudes. It is about adapting to new situations, solving problems, and developing a deeper understanding of the world around us. Mr. Geronimo loves sneakers and basketball and enjoys cooking.
Fun fact: Mr. Geronimo can cook and sing.
