Amy Kirby Gowdy teaches Biology I, Marine Science, Anatomy & Physiology, and AP Environmental Science. Ms. Kirby Gowdy holds a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and is AP certified.
Ms. Kirby Gowdy is a Lake City native and product of Florence School District 3 public schools. She believes that good teachers are also lifelong learners and that we cannot learn unless our basic needs are met. She believes children need someone who is as excited about their subject as humanly possible, and that is what she is about science. Ms. Kirby Gowdy loves to play guitar and sing.
