School Improvement Council/ Title One

Welcome to our shared space for school improvement. At J. Paul Truluck, our School Improvement Council (SIC) and Title I Program work in tandem to ensure our students have the elite resources necessary to excel in both the arts and sciences. This page serves as your transparency portal for how we invest in your child’s future.

Federal Funding for JPT	Community Leadership at JPT
Title I provides the "Fuel" for our Magnet School. It funds our science lab equipment, art supplies, and specialized tutors to ensure every student succeeds.	SIC provides the "Feedback." It is our local council of parents and teachers who help decide the direction and goals of our school.

Your Voice Matters: As a Title I school, we want you to be an active participant in your child’s education.

Annual Meeting: Join us each Fall and Spring for our Title I meetings to review our budget and school goals.
Parental Rights: You have the right to request information regarding the professional qualifications of your child's teachers.
Decision Making: Help us decide how "Parent Involvement" funds are spent by attending our monthly SIC meetings.
