Individual Graduation Plan (IGP)

Graduation Caps

The purpose of the annual Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) is to review a student’s current and past academic progress, career interests, educational goals, and post-secondary plans and discuss course selections for the next school year.  The IGP plan is developed during a conference between the student, counselor, and parents/guardian or designee.  During this conference, students and parents are provided with information, support and assistance in determining obtainable goals during and after high school.

IGP meetings last approximately 30-45 minutes. These conferences are now being held and parents are invited to call the School Counseling Department at 843-374-8685 to set up an appointment.  Annual IGP conferences are an important time for all involved, and we really enjoy the opportunity to meet with students and parents to help students successfully plan their road map to graduation and beyond.
