Mr. Luna teaches Physical Education and Health. He holds a Bachelors of Arts and Science (majors: Health. Physical Education, Sports and Recreation Management; Minors: History) Masters in Literacy. Additionally, he holds certifications in Advanced Placement U.S. History, Project Based Learning, and R2S Literacy Teacher. He was Inducted into the Union City HS Athletic Hall of Fame in September 2021.
Mr. Luna says, "I believe that Mondays are just as important as Fridays and embracing Mondays, just as much as Fridays, makes for a successful week. I believe that everyone has the capacity for greatness and can achieve greatness if they don't allow fear, emotions, and procrastination to get in the way. I believe that we have all been created for a purpose and that when we discover and pursue that purpose we achieve satisfaction and happiness. I believe that we have a responsibility to support and lift up those around us and in doing so we will reach greater heights!"
